SUPPORT THE UNHOUSED

About Us

Housing With Grants helps connect you to the world of resources for housing instability. We hope you can use these resources!

Transition Projects

Since 1969, Transition Projects has been serving Portland’s homeless population. We provide individuals with the services, resources and tools they need to end their homelessness, secure housing, and maintain that housing.

Transition Projects places people into rental apartments throughout the Portland metro area, and operates three buildings for those moving from homelessness to housing, and provides short- and long-term support for participants to rent housing units throughout the metro area. But the work doesn't end there. By remaining engaged and providing the follow-up services critical to successful placements needed once housed, people stay housed.

Getting involved in supporting a solution is easier than one might think.

Our Blog

Landlords who work with Transition Projects help uplift their communities by making available their properties to

people transitioning into stable housing.

To see our community thrive, we need to work to lift up all members of our community, including the unhoused.

Our class has created a blog covering various issues of unhoused/homelessness, with the hope of sharing and spreading information to inform and educate the public. If you are more interested in learning about such causes and effects that drive people into living without a home and what you can do to help, we urge you to check it out and read out posts.
